Objective : To learn about different habitats and their adaptations.

Answers of questions on Page # 44 :

a. Desert – Hot, little water, nights may be very cold, lots of light.

Arctic – Very cold, Very dark in winter and light in summer.

Rain forest – Dark, wet, humid, hot.

Sea Shore – little fresh water, waves pulling at organisms.

b. Desert – lack of water.

Arctic – extremely cold.

Rain Forest – many predators.

Sea Shore – damage caused by waves.

c. Desert – Cactus, Camel, Snake, Lizard.

Arctic – Penguin, Polar Bear, Killer Whale, Seal.

Rain Forest – Frog, Snakes, Monkey, Apes.

Sea Shore – Crab, Limpet, Sea gull, Starfish.
